Ive always wanted another VW. It had been years since i got rid of my mk5 so when my girlfriend sent me this car i couldn't pass up the opportunity
This is our 1988 VW POLO C
Dont get me wrong i would have been happy with any mk4 Jetta or GTI but this is so much cooler to me. it is the epitome of old school car tech (or lack there of) : manual steering, brakes, and no ac its all about the drive even tho the previous owner fitted a Sony apple car play I even still have the original radio.

It really is hard to put to words what Justin accomplished on this day. Personally I’ve never considered myself to be a fashion photographer, the only other time that i shot a fashion show was a NY fashion week show that one of my friends was walking in, but at this time cloths were just products for sale to me, I did not have the perception of clothing that i have today because of this show. Josh contacted me inviting me to Justin’s first show “Unchained” show not just to spectate but as a photographer. This was when he introduced me to Justin Fuller, one of the most creative people I’ve ever met. Josh had shown me a couple of his designs on paper but i had no clue what his plan was for them. These are not just cloths they’re individual pieces of art, more like art in motion. I am still blown away at the outcome of Justin’s first show and I’m excited to see what he comes out with next. it was truly a pleasure to capture this moment for you.

A short story about how this set cost me $115
I was in the city for work, whenever i got to the city I have a camera on me even if I wasn’t going specifically to shoot. At around 12 i was looking for lunch around 57th street. I found a parking spot on the corner and started walking the two blocks too McDonalds. On my walk i snapped these pictures, grabbed my lunch, and walked back to the car. In that 20 minute span of time i came back to a $115 parking ticket.
This got to me being that the reason i got the ticket was for parking in a construction zone but that was on the cross street and all they posted was a small piece of paper saying construction parking over the normal 3 hour parking sign.

I’ve never seen the streets of time square as empty as i have this year. The whole energy of the city is different.
It felt like the city was asleep for the first time in its life.

First day of the new year, a blank canvas. 2020 presented so many challenges. Making it really difficult to go out and meet with people. I couldn’t go see friends and most family. With all these restrictions it puts the challenge on the creator and small business owner to keep everything going. In the last few months i’ve seen a-lot of small businesses going out. To me this is an example of why we need to help our small businesses and support our communities in any way that we can. Since i got my business cards in and personally i LOVE them. I want to give them out to small businesses and real-estate agents in my area to help get their properties on the web and looking amazing. The cards will also come with a 20% discount for first time customers.

It’s a funny story how i met sam. I was just scrolling through instagram, on break at work, and saw a post about his hatch smoking heavily from the exhaust. I knew exactly what it was. I messaged him out of the blue and told him i could help him fix it. I drove an hour north of my house to sam’s where we rebuilt his motor so he could make it to his favorite show. He drove that hatch from Dumont to Wildwood for SE. Ive known sam for a couple years now and i still love that story. It was on of the first times i’ve ever jumped out of my comfort zone. My life would be completely different had i not messaged him.

One of the first people to put a camera back in my hands. When i met Teddy, I was going through a rough time in my life. Somewhere in the stage where you’re trying to find out who you really are and what you really want to do with your life. I met teddy through other friends and I didn’t actually know how important he was actually going to be. Since then he remains one of my best friends.

Josh is a special person. One of the most unique and talented artists, and one of the most genuine people i’ve ever met. His ability to take an idea develop a concept and execute. A published photographer and an amazing model. He has helped me really push myself artistically. Its different shooting with josh, wether he’s modeling or shooting, he knows exactly how the shot needs to go. If I’m being completely honest, I’m bias. Over the time i’ve known josh we have become very close friends. So when I tell him his work is amazing or i really like a certain concept, he thinks It’s just me being a friend. He’s modest and I know when he reads this he’s going to say “your just gassing me up bro.” He truly deserves every bit of it. He has helped me to grow so much over the years and i can not thank him enough.
